janeywxmParticipantIf Sarah Atherton had blocked all replies then she would have more credibility!
The fact that she still allows replies from allies and friends makes it quite clear she has only blocked criticism!
Worst MP Wrexham has ever had or possibly will ever have!
Janey
janeywxmParticipantIt’s pretty obvious the Tory government are still aiming for Herd Immunity! Nobody in their right mind would have allowed the beaches to remain open after the overcrowding we all saw.
Coronavirus is still in the community but he’s opening pubs!
Even Chris Whitty has begun distancing himself from the decisions that Boris is making!
Janey
janeywxmParticipantObesity is a major risk factor for dying of Coronavirus yet our MP promotes junk food.
Unbelievable!
Janey
janeywxmParticipantThis is very worrying! 70 confirmed cases at Rowan Foods, 1000 test results outstanding according to Vaughan Gething.
I dread to think what the numbers will be in Wrexham during the next couple of weeks or so.
Town is open and some people are social distancing less and less.
I feel like a doom and gloom messenger but I think we should brace ourselves for lockdown here.
Janey
janeywxmParticipantLilly, I think anyone in government who breaks lockdown rules, regardless of political party should be offered the opportunity to resign. If they refuse they should be removed from their position.
Janey
janeywxmParticipantI know the government has not shown a good example, Everhard. The Dominic Cummings scandal was totally mishandled and he should have been sacked!
The lockdown was a joke! We should have had a stricter lockdown, saved more lives and treated it more seriously.
There is no doubt in my mind a second wave, more devastating that the first will hit the UK.

janeywxmParticipantDid anyone else see Wrexham trending on twitter last week? A group of lads/men/thugs/ decided to go from Wrexham to Manchester to basically have a fight with some far right protestors at a BLM demonstration. No qualms about bringing Covid back with them or catching it off the person they were fighting with!
Driving home from work I see large gangs of teenagers congregating together and not self distancing and the same goes for older couples and groups. Actually makes me wonder why I bother go to work and put myself out for other people!
Neighbours having people inside their homes who are not family members.
Is it any wonder the town is still getting a high rate of Covid infection?
Janey
janeywxmParticipantShe is only receiving replies on twitter from people she follows. She is quite clearly incapable of tolerating criticism and is afraid of scrutiny!
It’s bad enough having a Tory MP in Wrexham but to have one who is so poor at communicating and interacting with constituents is even worse!
People moaned about Ian Lucas but at least he was around, he replied and was seen to be doing something! Sarah Atherton really is beyond poor.
Janey
janeywxmParticipantLooking at the crowds in London and Manchester just fills me with dread! I totally agree with why they are marching but to do this during a pandemic is crazy!

janeywxmParticipantWell I hope you don’t think I was ” fat shaming” Matt by mentioning high BMI being an underlying cause connected with increased risk of death from coronavirus!
I would never shame anyone based on their weight. It is a fact that higher BMI causes heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and other weight related illnesses.
Medical reports have all stated that a worrying high percentage of deaths or intake of ITU beds during this crisis have been people with high BMI.
Mcdonalds and other takeaway food is unhealthy, high fat and loaded with calories. Once and while a takeaway is fine but lots of people don’t just stop at that.
If anyone is holier than thou it is you Matt. You seem to love to pick an argument where there is none and like to put yourself on some pedestal of virtue!
