There are worse people in town than Marky Prandle!!! Maybe the council and police should take note! Marky Prandle might be seen as a pest by some but I hope you have realised by now that he is also a very prominent and well-liked person in Wrexham!!!

I knew Marky before he went off the rails and when he was in the army. He was a well dressed young man, polite and a bit of a rum lad but very popular and friendly! He always comes up to me and always says sorry in advance for asking for some money. I never give him any but if I have been shopping I will crack open a pack of biscuits or crisps and give him something to eat. He is always grateful and says thanks.

It’s a joke that the Polish drinkers, the people doing drugs in open can get away with it but Marky is picked on! I’ve lost count how many times I smell cannabis being smoked in town – and never a policeman around to complain to either!!!

Give the guy a break and try something else to help him, surely the psychiatric services must have some power! I believe he has schizophrenia so mental health act could apply?

Hmmm, whilst I agree with the sentiment by 99DJ I cannot correlate that to the petition started by Luke Evans to bring swarms of immigrants to Wrexham. If the council agree to that it just shows that they would rather look after these than there own.
It beats me why these terrorists would want to come and live in the land of the infidels (non-believers) any way

One of, if not the most disgusting post I have read in a very long time.

Surely that was a troll post and not meant to be taken seriously????
Wonder how much sympathy the people of Wrexham would have for a person that posts on their social media that ” Wrexham is just a scum filled town and it’s an embarrassment to be born here “.

When challenged that “Not everyone is bad. Don’t classify the majority with a minority. ”

Responds ” Hmm I would say it’s the majority in Wrexham “.

Further, this person publicly states that parking at Eagles Meadow is £30 per month thus a preference to park in the street – “I should be able to park on any public road I want to as long as no yellow lines. If there are houses on there, tough! ”

I also wonder how his employer views this publicly stated opinion of Wrexham people seeing as many of them may well be potential customers.

Maybe after reading such comments even more Wrexham people will make use of some free parking like him – at the cinema in Broughton !
He obviously has no consideration for others but expects people to show him some! His comments are out of order and has lost him sympathy from me. Maybe having his car keyed was just deserts!

It’s awful to say but I bet lots of people who previously parked in Smithfield will think twice now. I don’t condone the vandalism but as someone who lives near the football ground it is easy to understand how someone would get fed up of not being able to park in front of their own home.

The residential streets close to the racecourse ground get full up on match days by both away and home supporters who don’t want to pay a couple of pounds to park. I bet if a few of their cars started to get keyed then the amount of people choosing to park there would stop. Again I don’t condone it but the police don’t do anything to sort it out.

    Thanks everyone,
I did wonder why it was so packed! Can’t remember the name of the traffic warden from years ago, a woman who everyone feared lol I bet she would have sorted out High Street!

The beggars and drug addicts, alcoholics are everywhere in Wrexham now. Not a day goes past you don’t see them drinking in Rhosddu, the park near the swimming baths, the wood hut on Maesgwyn playing fields or on the guildhall green. Some of them are locals who have lived here all their life but many are coming from out of areas now because of the services and shelters that Wrexham have.

I’ve no idea what the police do about it these days as I hardly see a beat bobby on the streets anymore!

I don’t think having a lap dance club close to student accommodation is a very good idea.

Same happens on Maesgwyn playing fields. I complained to Phil Wynn councillor once about the mess left after football games only to be told that ” The teams were friends of his”! Needless to say the mess continued and he does not get my vote anymore.
