Isn’t it funny how Vinci failed to mention in their comment to Wrexham.com that they want out of the contract!

I believe Vinci want out of their parking contact and this is their way of getting Eagles Meadow to revisit it and let them out of it, looks like at the expense of the people of Wrexham. They know it will effect trade so hoping that Eagles Meadow will sit up and listen. Basically Vinci are holding the shopping centre to ransom! this parking area is nothing to do with wrexham Councils parking areas and is totally private

Lol it’s not scaremongering, the fact is Welsh Government want a voluntary merger with Flintshire and it has stated that NO money will be available to fund the merger which could cost up to £400 Million. Just a few incentives which they haven’t disclosed because they don’t even know what they will be yet. And yes Flintshire are in a mess and need help

people scare mongering I think, wrexham council hasn’t said this is going to happen, it would end up causing more problems than it would be worth. just because one council does it does mean all will follow.

You are correct with regards to priorities, but having lived in close proximity to Acton Gate all my life, I can never remember it being tarmaced before (which is a few years ;) ) in my life time, so I guess it was due ..:)

I too live close to Acton Gate and I know these paths haven’t been done for over 45years and the kerbs are over 100 years old and sinking. Our local councillor has been trying to get these done for 18 months and it will be fantastic to finally have a usable safe surface. We have a few partially sighted people who couldn’t even walk along this area as it was too unsafe for them, I think things get done as and when needed and on a priority basis I guess it’s just our turn. :)
