To be truthful I think they do a good job also, but why are they been funded by the council anyway? Surely the police should fund the police just as the fire authority fund/pay the fire fighters. Rather than loose them why cant the police crime commissioner increase the precept to pay for them surely this is the logical route, I don’t mind paying a little extra to keep them. Recently our neighbours had an issue in oak road they contacted 101 not long after a couple of pcso’s visited, they were full of praise for them. Regardless if they are chatting or walking the streets It’s the reassurance and the knowing they are there if you need them.

Good god man get a life the way you going you will be putting a charge on them to breathe next haven’t you got anything better to do other than stirring up negative stuff like this. As I said I’m not the biggest fan of Councillors especially what they did to Plas Madoc. I would imagine some of our taxes end up paying towards the pension pots of the services iv mention.

Draiggoch you come across as you know a lot? You are not one of thos Plaid councillors are you? You don’t honestly believe public services are not impacted, when people are living in shop door fronts, the dependence on food banks is on the increase where have you been. This is the austerity measures handed down by Westminster and welsh government where your leader is in coalition. Do you honestly think any local authorities want to make cuts, I for one don’t want any cuts but I know they have to be made. You mention cut from the top that old chestnut wake up and smell the coffee millions need to be saved and it’s going to take more than iPads to make the savings.

Not hasty at all in fact lots of tumble weed has passed by, its not criticism it’s the truth, Plaid are just playing to the audience they have done for year’s it would be a different tune if they were in power though and there is no chance of that thank goodness.

Dose telling the truth make an idiot of oneself? It was the same old story about the iPads when Plaid were knocking my door asking for my vote. They just don’t seem to have anything else. Mabey I was a bit hasty but when you see it all over socia media it just gives the impression iPads and pay is going to solve everything, when we all know it’s not. We are all entitled to our opinion and to put the record straight i have no hatred of any party or affiliation but for heavens sake put forward something more substantial rather than iPads and pay we have heard it all before. Cuts to schools, country parks, social services the list goes on. Can you honestly think iPads and pay will solve everything. Do you think we are all idiots.

Matt I agree, however if these Tory cuts to all local authorities weren’t there surely local authorities wouldn’t be in the mess they are right now. Don’t get me wrong it’s a smack in the face to all the hard working people seeing the councillors have a wage rise, is it just Wrexham councillors thats having the rise? You mention the groves again I agree what an absolute waste of tax payers money, again in my opinion the involvement of a cabinet member before the run up to the assembly elections, resulting in the listing of the building. Shocking if you ask me. Having said that the consultants, arts hub, again what a waste of tax payers money. Frankly I don’t know what the answer is.

look at the allowances assembly members and mp get its mad what about them cutting their allowance no chance and it’s the same with the councillors I would imagine? Frankly I wouldn’t do what they do for a gold clock. The reason we are in this mess is the massive borrowing by sucsessive labour governments, we are now paying the price, I agree councillors do get payed to much but our Am’s & mp’s have a part to play also lobby them, after all it’s down to them that we are in this dreadful mess.

Hi Matt, I don’t think any of us has the answers to this, Arfon Jones the pcc wants a fix room, can you imagine wherever this is sited it will kill the place, just look at the issues in Rhosddu, i just think the pharmacy’s who are in the scheme make considerable profit from it must take some responsibility. But I’m sure others will have ideas also
