Its worth noting that WH Smiths now has a store within a store at the toy shop in Gwersyllt, next to the new Home Bargains. Also within the toy shop is a post office. Is this a new plan for certain types of shop to avail themselves of each others trading. Of course as stated in another thread on this forum, the free parking available to shop in the variety of stores is also a major draw.

    Win Win !.

If you think there is a fault its best to report it to the highways department ASAP.

The rules of the road apply to everyone, drivers, cyclists, motorcyclists, pedestrians e.t.c. . Its just that some users of the roads choose to ignore the rules and when another user points out their fault/s they become defensive because they have been caught out. and they think their only defence is anger and aggression, when in fact they should aknowledge their fault politely and move on.
I understand the points made by Rex & Jane, by in my experience [driving all over the country for over 30years – inc. white van man] I have never know a road actually cause a crash. Its down to poor driving – awareness – patience – reactions – tiredness – selfishness – speed car maintenance – women – skill – driving conditions inc. time of day – SORRY only joking about patience!!

People need to slow down, be aware and drive accordingly – if they don’t know the area just open your eyes if you do then you’ve only got your self to blame!
Got to agree fully with this ( of course not the patience part ). Very often we see speed limits being reduced due to an “accident black spot” or so called “dangerous stretch of road”. Its the drivers not the road or the speed limit.

Thanks Daave63, for the info. I myself am a dog owner, and never allow my dogs to walk over anybody’s garden let alone foul on their property. A lot of the offenders seem to have their dogs on the extending lead, let out to such a degree that they have no control over their dog. A dogs lead should be short, so as to make it easy to control them and to enforce any command that the dog does not respond to, of course correct training would not not to be enforced.

In my experience it is always the dog owner that is poorly trained as to how a dog should be trained and behave. It is not the dogs fault it has fouled in a particular place, but the owners for not picking it up. Of course it is possible to train a dog “to go” on command, but most owners prefer to take the easy option when it comes to training and believe it is somehow everyoneelses problem when their dog misbehaves.

I thinkl i will take the direct approach next time i witness the fouling and confront the owner, also i know where he lives !!!.

On a side note i may contact Kingdom and ask why them to patrol my area, i guarantee their ticket rate will increase.
