Could someone explain why some dog owners clean up after their dogs but then deposit the plastic bag and contents in a hedge , on the grass verge etc ? On a recent country walk I was confronted with numerous bags hanging off bushes , at least if it is not picked up and bagged nature will eventually decompose it and wash it away. Why take the trouble to bag it but not dispose of it in a proper place?

I agree, on many walks I now see small bags of dog waste discarded in hedges etc.
The Council need to introduce more dog waste bins in my opinion.

A real beach is only 35 miles away! If someone can’t afford a bus ride to Rhyl with a couple of children their priorities must lie elsewhere

After this news, it’s a shame the “main” beach they planned this year fell through. Especially with the heatwave!

I was enjoying a real beach during the heatwave!

Beach idea would have been a waste of money in my opinion.

Just reading some concerns about effects on the local area this super prison may have. I live in llwyn onn . What are the chances this will effect my house value and insurances of all kind going up? I was thinking that with higher police presence in the area that insurances wouldn’t be affected, but I’ve read otherwise. I do want to look at selling in a few years, do I sell now instead? What are your thoughts on these issues

It might be easier to sell now before the ‘rush’ in a few years.

With the UK’s largest prison about to be built up the road I’m sure a lot more Unsavoury characters will be coming to the town.

The council run car parks are cheaper then the Eagles Meadow one. Two of them are free after12pm.

If I remember correctly, WCBC in all their wisdom and looking through ££ signs
sold a 25 year lease to Vinci Park UK in order to get a large upfront payout. The Council now have no control of the car park pricing strategy.

Eagles Meadow was going to be the future for Wrexham town centre.
So called ‘super schools’ would be the way forward with regards to local education.
Now a ‘super prison’ will benefit the town!
    Wrong, Wrong & Wrong

Any negativity surrounding Wrexham will not be enhanced by opening the UK’s largest prison only a few miles from the Town centre.
