The danger is a short term cut generated a longer term cost – look at the cleaning of drains – cut back on this and the next heavy rain is floods everywhere the cost more to sort than the drain savings in the first place.

Why do they still have Clywedog, Rhosnessni Maelor, St Josephs, Grango, Ruabon and Darland when they could get rid of two schools due to the number of spare spaces across Secondary Schools.

The Council do not mange Section 106 funding from developers often never collecting the funds or just leaving in their accounts so it is not used for intended purpose.

Ask Cllr Hugh Jones about the WiFi system paid for but never delivered linked to CCTV.

The problem is that the sludge gulper only sucks out mainly the debris in a vertical position – the sideway pipes need to be high pressure blasted until there is free flowing water – in some places it could be about an hour per manhole not the 15min that seems to occur – I wonder if the workers are not allocated enough time per drain to do a proper job.

How would a Welsh Government funded reporter report on the totally disastrous performance from Mark Drakeford and Vaughan Gethin at the Covid Inquiry. They actually admitted what many people have been saying for the past 3 years the Welsh Government was totally unprepared for a pandemic despite various planning and strategic opportunities to pre plan.
Will our own MSs – Lesley Griffiths and Ken Skates now admit the Labour Party Government were not fit for purpose during the pandemic.
What will Labour spin Doctors do to try and recover an undefendable position.

One of the only thing that would act as a lever would be if all the companies running the actual shops complained to the landlord with a threat to leave (if they could find a cluse in their lease agreement). Why would the car park company engage with politicians or the Council it is a private service on private land. If the machines are charging incorrectly then a consumer has the right to refuse payment, make an offer to the company to pay the actual amount and then wait. They cant take a someone who has not paid their fixed penalty if issued for an incorrect amount- force them into court claim.

Reading the article the £800m is for Tram Trains which we don’t have in North Wales- so what is the North Wales investment? and When are new rolling stick coming for the region?

Clearly Ms Atherton is in pre electioneering mode trying for a populist stance- most people however who don’t have development land around them probably couldn’t care less about the LDP as it is a NIMBY – Wrexham MP needs to be changed to Labour but definitely need to remove Labour from the Senedd – they have mad such a hash of 25 years in Wales. Our own MSs Lesley Griffiths and Ken Skates just don’t listen to their electorate- when will they make statements about Health, Education and the economy.
When Politicians are silent it usually means there are no good news stories and people who say there are failings are actually correct. They just don’t know how to speak up for their electorate , preferring to support the political Party instead.

With so many issues in the Betsi Health Board coming out almost daily it is no wonder no one wants the Chief Exec role- https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-65925608 it is time for a full root and branch review of health services not just in North Wales but the whole of Wales. Disaster after disaster and you have to feel sorry for the front line staff who are doing amazing things day in day out.
Lives in Wales are being lost. The fact that the Welsh Government wont hold a Covid enquiry in Wales shows they have things to hide. The submission they have made to the UK inquiry is so abysmal, lacking in detail and content it looks like they have had it put together by a group of 6th Formers or someone on work experience.
The people of Wales deserve more from our elected politicians.
