I don’t think the OP has fully understood the article and whether there is a need to insult Welsh language on a ‘local’ forum as this is what seems to be his only intention.

He actually funds the system by being a tax payer so has a say in the matter lol😂

Gwynedd council did this with their housing stock and made them a housing association separate from the council, keeping and expanding on the same workforce.

Their thinking was that with so many properties in much needed repair to meet the housing standard quality they would qualify for European funding to cover costs.
They are now one of the biggest housing association in Wales and expanding over their borders, having new build sites and having bought stock from other councils.

With Wrexham council having a larger portfolio of housing stock I would’ve thought they would have followed suit to take advantage of European funding. But it seems not preferring to spend from the public pocket instead on overdue works to provide quality housing.

A lot of traffic could be reduced by improving the A5, as at the moment all major traffic from the south and Midlands are using the a483 to head on the A55 towards Ireland.
It’s signposted and directed on their satnav.
I think the average speed cameras are going to be part of the infrastructure on most UK roads soon.

It wasn’t my own question it was in relation to the op’ post.

Googling FOIA about the spending of tax payers money would be a waste of time, would it prove anything?

With the tower at bodhyfryd becoming not fit for purpose after a mere 40 years, I wonder with the use of modern building methods what lifespan the new station has, not forgetting the cop shop at the library that ‘replaced’ the art gallery.

Get your calculator out, running costs, wages, maintenance and upkeep of building and vehicles.

Not including construction costs who funds the system anyway, and is it value for money?

What’s all the fuss? This will bring jobs and diversity to the area, along with much needed affordable housing.

I’m not trolling seriously! This seems to be the voice of reason.

who was it that drew up plans for the said bus station.

They are now going to be reconsidering the structure due to recent events, the photos on national news date back two years.

[quote quote=126660]What I am finding most interesting on this forum and a certain popular social media site is the talk of ‘No Go Areas’ in Wrexham.

Yes, the bus stop to name one. Who would want to sit and wait for the bus where ‘undesirables’ spend day a night being should I say ‘undesirable’.

A welcome point for visitors to the town, surely not one for neighbourhood watch.

The many crimes and anti social behaviour issues in Wrexham are a disgrace. Don’t these people see this isn’t just affecting their victims, it’s affecting the town as a whole.

Many areas are becoming no go areas now and names stick, IT IS the job of the police and councils to change and stop this or there won’t be any turning back.
