D RKeymasterWe have mentioned this before – however had a question in asking: The speed camera van often parks in a layby in Pandy outside a row of bungalows where residents park and it is also a bus stop. Is this allowed?

D RKeymasterWouldn’t be a webchat without a question about the speed cameras. So here’s two..!
Could you please ask Inspector Paul Wycherley if they intend on setting up any speed enforcement on the A5156 Llan y Pwll Link Road in Wrexham?
If the answer is no then why not? There is speed enforcement on the A483 almost daily but on the A5156 Llan y Pwll, that runs directly behind hundreds of peoples homes, where cars and especially motorcycles thrash their vehicles at silly speeds every single day and night there is nothing.
AND – Why do we never see the Arrive alive speed camera van on the Llanypwll link road. Some evenings and weekends it’s like a racetrack.

D RKeymasterA Garden Village resident has been in touch with us to ask – “As a resident of Princes Close, off Ty Gwyn Lane Wrexham. There is no police/ PCSO on foot in our area as far as I can see.
“Why not go down the route of Norfolk Police Authority and end PCSO’s and employ Police officers with more powers etc. Surely better in the long run.”

D RKeymasterBit of a different kind of question now – “Why do the police have to have expensive German cars for their traffic fleet?
“For years the police used Fords and Vauxhalls but now are whizzing around in German cars, at a time when everyone is tightening their belts I cannot see why they cannot return to UK built cars.

D RKeymasterA regular question asked in these webchats – “Why do the Police promote use of the 101 number for people to call them on matters which are sometimes quite serious when the majority of people’s experience is that it just rings and rings endlessly without an answer, or even worse, just cuts you off after a certain time.”
