Wrexham only area in North Wales to be left with Kingdom litter enforcement.
A litter enforcement firm will stop issuing fines in Conwy, Flintshire and Denbighshire months earlier than expected – with Wrexham remaining contracted to the company.
Unfortunately as much as you may enjoy the company of those self-centered killing machines, is is estimated that cats in the UK catch up to 275 million prey items a year, of which 55 million are birds. This is the number of prey items which were known to have been caught. We don’t know how many more the cats caught, but didn’t bring home, or how many escaped but subsequently died.
Our cat was a stray that we took in. It is not a killing machine it is frightened of birds.
Could it be that Wrexham Council have come up with the perfect answer?
The obligation on the Council is to provide a certain number of traveller spaces. By putting them in close proximity to the new police station,it could transpire to be good management.
It could turn out that the travellers may well choose not to set up in a heavily policed area, in which case its possible Llay could be the best site in the county.
If the traveller site was next door to the police station, the police still wouldn’t go there if their was trouble.
