“You cannot make a silk purse out of a pigs ear” as the old saying goes, but Wrexham leaders know “how to make a pigs ear out of a silk purse” The town is dead , memories are for the old, time to move forward and create a new town of prosperity, but the old town fathers are long dead, long live the memories-thats all thats left.

I say Jimbo old chap, look at the big picture. Wrexham council is providing a secure place for these people to sleep instead of shop doorways which they will also use to urinate in, also, it keeps them pretty well confined during the hours of darkness and prevents them getting up to mischief or crime along with causing great annoyance to the public. And who knows, some night in the near future the the local authority just might decide to shut them in and lock the doors of the containers,, mark them, for onward shipping to Libya and solve the dosser problem for good. So tell me Jimboy will that solve the problem for you, maybe you could tag along and ensure the containers are returned.

There are thousands of factory workers and others in the Wrexham catchment area who daily and annually receive free parking at there place of work for carrying out there own job of work, so why not council staff they work and provide a service the same as everyone else receiving free parking at there place of work. Seems to me we have a crowd of complaining ninnies here with sour hearts and heads. Long live free parking for all council staff, or to please everyone lets charge them plus all workers in all local factories and elsewhere. So beware you agitators—stop your sabre rattling or you may find yourselves paying out if you receive freeparking.!!!

Muppet 1 & 2 arrived in Holt recently to refill there previous work a few weeks earlier. This time they were filled with horror as there potholes were filled with water. Muppet 1 stood at the hole in confusion , “what to do” water in the hole , muppet 2 joined him and now we had both muppets in a quandry on how to overcome the water in the hole upon which muppet 2 who at this time carried a hard broom gave the hole a poke with the broom as though the water would bite back and noted to muppet 1 that when he poked the pothole some of the water left the hole. On came the “lightbulb in both muppet heads” and so it was they proceeded to fill each pothole with already cold tarmac in order to evict the offending water. As they proceeded it was amazing to see the delight on there faces as they conquered each hole with the discovery that to empty water logged potholes all you do is shovel in the tarmac stamp on it and the water will run off elsewhere. As they proceeded on in there obviously vacant little world muppet 2 would clap muppet 1 on the back in trumph of a job well done. The majority of the tarmac is now gone and no doubt they will return to waste the taxpayers money whilst some highways official pats himself on the back on a job well done…..reminds me of a Beatles song including the lyric, “10,000 holes in Blackburn Lancashire”. I hope that unlike Wrexham they employed staff with brain power and an official who demanded value for money on the taxpayers behalf. Muppets please come back soon the whole village is waiting for your comedy sequel.

Our NHS is now in a total state of disrepair and close to closing down which is the intention of the government with its long term plan of 100% private treatment through medical insurance etc.. Long term we are all going to suffer much worse than presently. All this is put down to the cost of supporting the system which is envied the world over, but as we are all aware the mandarins in the so called Assembly and parliament are all covered by private health insurance and free BUPA etc, whilst the plebicites, thats you and myself must suffer. These 2 days past I witnessed a pensioner at a care home fall and lie there for 2.5 hours until an ambulance turned up with 2 stressed out para-medics one of whom told me he was leaving at the earliest opportunity. I am under no illusion that in the not to distant future the health service will disappear from our midst unless we the public begin a move of civil unrest to prevent it from happening. Remember this–not so far away now, if you fall ill you will die through the lack of treatment your predecessors fought for.

Good day to one and all, regards Joness buses we are living in Holt carless and now busless. There are many pensioners in Holt who depend on the bus service for–shopping–attending hospital and doctors aapointments or for social activities. Does, or has anyone any idea of what is to happen to the bus service from Wrexham to Chester and back which takes in many villages on route. This service is vital to many retired older folk who will now have no means of travel//contact or shopping facilities.

When will the people of Wales wake from there dream and realise Labour is a spent force. true Labour died many many years ago—it is now a spent force for nothingness,, just a burned out squib full of falsehood and lies. I even say there is not one MP within Labour educated to a decent standard including its leader Corbyn,,{ reminds me of a chap named Lenin }. Jobs for the boys and screw the people that is now there mantra. Labour is dead and long may be so resting in the manure tip it deserves and has made itself. Maybe Lewis could be planted on top resembling some great fat over ripe strawberry.

Good-day, Joan of the Hog, Can you enlighten me as to the number of fines you have so far disposed of in winning cases—your fines of course. Plus the type of fines, or, any you may have freed others from paying.

Has anyone even seen or heard of a candidate doing the rounds to drum up support for votes—seems like they are a very rare species in Wrexham or even extinct. No doubt come the day they will be hovering for our votes to win a place at the money trough.

Bin men are the worst offenders for litter but free from fines as its “part of the job” to dump a little litter on the street to annoy residents. As for litter fines in general it would be best to begin with Wrexham town centre and its filthy urine smelling shop door-ways and streets–no wonder half the shops are abandoned to the drunken rats of the night. I hear the town is now taking care of drunks in our much needed public toilets and getting them taxis home–great,, close the toilets and let them use the shop door ways to urinate. What planning,, well done Wrexham for spending our money so splendidly and efficiently. Instead of taking care of these people get the police whose wages we pay to try using the cells and issuing some eye watering fines via the magistrates. To be fair the council try hard to keep the town and surrounding areas in good order but fail to bring down the hammer on the riff raff and those with no respect for property and our town. Bring back deportation to Australia. Feel better for that.
