Councillor XParticipantThe Council should have asked PWC for advice ….
Councillor XParticipantWell said Animal Mother, you showed “iout” up for what he/ she is, or was it a typo? i.e. “lout”
Daave63, I vote chicken. Who wants KFF?

Councillor XParticipantCouncil watcher there is no need to take the spoilt brat, they are gettin’ something that I ain’t gettin’approach and instead ask someone who ‘benefits’ from the scheme what it is about and what they are getting out of it.
I asked and was told “Its a bag of shite” or words to that effect!
So there you go, case closed!
Councillor XParticipant[quote quote=53471]Does Denbighshire County Council understand the importance of free car parking to encourage more shoppers, better than Wrexham Council? Denbighshire has followed a policy originally pioneered by Chester. All Denbighshire County Council car parks are to be “free after 3pm ” until December 31st. A similar scheme in Wrexham would stimulate trade over the festive period.

Well wrexview, it took 5 years but they listened to you and even trumped your idea! Maybe you should run for Councillor next year!
Councillor XParticipantWin, win as we are being awarded costs too!
Councillor XParticipantShort stay car parks will remain short stay so that won’t be a problem but its free parking for town centre workers in long stay car parks. I don’t see a problem with that as many may £2 or £3 a day to park for work.
Then again if you are a Councillor you can park at the Guildhall for free and do your Christmas shopping whenever you want.
Councillor XParticipantThere are already massive queues on that part of Croesnewydd Road, waiting to get onto Ruthin Road, at various times during the day. These cause problems for ambulances and fire engines and this is worsened by Money Penny traffic leaving en masse.
Perhaps they shouldn’t have put a fire and ambulance station somewhere where traffic congestion is prolific ….
You can’t help but… with 20/20 hindsight, go back and say, ‘Look, had we done something different, we probably wouldn’t be facing what we are facing today.’ – Norman Schwarzkopf
Councillor XParticipantIf people used the Hospital car park to visit patients and attend appointments instead of parking there for work or shopping without penalty, then there wouldn’t be such a problem. People are selfish creatures!
The Morrisons/ Aldi exit is going to be ridiculous as Aldi traffic will be backed up hoping that someone let them out …
Councillor XParticipantDylan, I seem to remember back in the summer of 2012, Cllr Phil Wynn calling for a “wet room” to be set up in Wrexham where people could get off their tits on alcohol without upsetting the shoppers. This never happened so your idea of a ‘safe/clean’ rooms for drug injections is unlikely to be favoured either.
The Police & Council have let the situation escalate over the years so much so that it became unmanageable thanks in part to their airy-fairy approach.

Come on Phil, pull your finger out and when you have a good idea, follow it through!
Councillor XParticipantFree parking and lots of Apps on iPads to keep Councillors occupied during boring meeting …. I love the ITV Hub! It also saves having to fork out a small fortune on one for the grandkids to play on when they visit.
Anyway stop complaining and if you want all of these perks go to the (proposed) ‘Be a Councillor:2017’ event on Monday 30th January 2017.
