Matt – Coming over here taking our jobs! I’ve heard there’s a migrant caravan already heading from Tattenhall seeking to cross over into Wales across Farndon bridge.

Matt, sounds like you are suffering from a touch xenophobia there my learned friend.

Like staff, Councillors must go through the PRCD Appraisal System to make sure they continue to do a good job, so why don’t those that perform deserve a pay rise, iPads and free parking?

Councillors as Members of full Council are the ultimate decision-makers so support your Local Councillor!

Matthew I just expect for you to jump on me with every rational post I make.

I am by no measure a xenophobe or as the Wetherspoonies now call me, a XENOPHONE.

I apologise it was meant in jest over a lunchtime pint

Matt, wake up and smell the hospital coffee. You have your head stuck in a bucket of sand and don’t want to see what is going on.

I have NOTHING against you as a person I just have a problem with some (not all) of your views.

We are overrun and the nhs is suffering.

So Matt, are you honestly so blinkered that you cannot see all the foreign names on the doctors’ appointment boards?

It is a simple equation really. If overall net migration to the UK stood at 271,000 in the year ending March 2018, that is another 271k people who qualify to use our Health services.

I would comment on the headline “Councillors still get free parking perk – silence from committee tasked with monitoring £49k budget gap” but Matt would only accuse me of being xenophobic or being on the side of Councillors and Top Management because I do not agree with everything he believes in.

I admire and respect those skilled “foreigners” working for the NHS.

My problem is with the unskilled workers who use of precious A&E resources BUT are only here because local people don’t want to do the jobs they came over to do and are happy as Larry on the dole.

If you want to point the finger, it is the soft Government who make rods for their own backs by letting everyone in and giving them homes and access to the NHS.

Good job BREXIT is stopping this and ploughing the money save back into the NHS [cue dream sequence]

I fail to see why everyone gets worked up about Councillors and Top Managers getting to park free to do their jobs.

Being parked so close, they always arrive on time and meetings are not delayed as a consequence.

Charging £100 is infantile at best.

You should either continue with free parking or charge a realist fee based on that charged at other car parks, for example, a Waterworld Car Park Season Ticket which costs £300 for six months (so £600 a year)

So why not charge Councillors £100 a year for their occasional use and Top Managers £300 a year for daily parking?

Any move to stop the Travellers running amok will be met with accusations of discrimination under the Race Relations Act 1976 and the Human Rights Act 1998.

Council Tax payers must learn to put up with their shenanigans because the powers that be are unwilling to be seen as the bad guys and stomp out their anti-social behaviour.

I am sure that if i were able to lift a rock and smash a car window then the police would have me behind bars before you could say ‘Pensioner Rights’.

The problem will remain and other communities will experience the curse of the unruly traveller kids.

How many people will just put their grass cuttings in with their general waste? Nobody checks bins and this is something that i have brought up with Councillors, to little effect.

Conwy will save £390,000 a year by moving to 4 weekly collections so Wrexham should wait to see how this fares before committing to change.
