As staff are being moved from the Council Lampit Street offices at present has the car park ben resurfaced as part of a deal to attract a better price from a developer to convert their ‘surplus’ offices into apartments to complement those that are being developed in Henblas Street.

I have seen a couple of mentions of similar around – and have spoken with WCBC this morning.

Wrexham Council has confirmed there are no plans to sell off any part of Lambpit Street offices.

Just like there were no plans to resurface the car park Rob?

    Wrexham.com and fake news!

Now that Councillors and Top Management are paying to park it would have been a nice gesture to resurface their car park.

Does anybody know if staff are still parking for free at the back of Crown Buildings?

I did say back in April that Councillors and Top Management should get something out of having to pay to park to do their jobs and sure as beans are beans they get their car park sorted.

Back in April on this site Council Leader Mark Pritchard, and the Lead Member for Finance, has been in touch this morning to ‘categorically’ state the councillor’s car park will not be getting a resurfacing, but some work will take place, however the main areas of work will be on the public Library carpark entrance.

I knew it would and loose tongues in Wetherspoons spat it out some time ago.

Glyndwr is the kid who used to take his football home because he couldn’t get his own way.
I hope that like that kid, he gets his a$$ kicked next time he shows up to play.

I used to leave my ball if mum used to call me in for my tea and one of the lads would fetch it back or chuck it into the yard for me. The only time it went in with me was if there was an air raid siren.

How long until the Council give in and given them permission to build their homes?

O’Conner utilities started my area then moved onto other parts of Wrexham instead of completing it.
They have then done part of Salop road and Tudor road.
Why don’t they do one road at a time and connect it all together instead of moving around.
They also leave barriers on residents gardens and threw there rubbish on gardens. They also make a mess all over the roads and pavements which they don’t clear up.

As an ex Councillor I pulled a few strings and they are going to come and finish the work just as soon they have finished repairing the traffic lights on Regent Street.

Do remember the Wrexham.com article where one Facebooker published a post stating that spikes had been installed on park benches in Wrexham to ‘prevent homeless people sleeping on them allegedly’.

it would have been better than removing the benches and the man watching CCTV could activate them when he see some unruly types. Better still give the job to Sheriff Matt because he knows all about being a pain in the arse (only joking Matt we love you!)

Bloody fools! Where are us older folk going to sit now? Some of the chaps find it hard walking between pubs and would sit on those benches.

The telephone boxes were handy for when i accidentally forget my mobile phone and have to call Mrs Councillor X to give an excuse why i am not home already.

What about the flower beds can we get rid of them too? I got stung by a beer in Lord Street once on my way to Wethers so rip them up those bees are criminals and they wear prison outfits.

PS I think Sheriff Matt has a nice ring to it if you wanted a new job. We need you because even the police have fled to Llay.

Average Speed cameras are there to make sure people stick to speed limits not to make a wad of cash.

If you keep to limits you don’t get done. They should put them on ALL roads and stop the idiots from doing stupid speeds.

Mrs (Councillor) X keeps to limits but the number of times she get flashed and beeped for doing so is unbelievable.

Luckily the old dear is very switched on (for her age) and normally responds with hand gestures.

The solution is for the Council to do what they have done with the roundabouts and road verges. Throw on a load of wild flower seed around the parks and let mother nature take over.

No maintenance required, lots of bees, birds and butterflies and massive savings.

If BREXIT isn’t sorted I and many if not all of my friends would vote for a Farage led party.

We have BIN (been) here before.

I have the smallest of gardens so will be putting my dead plants in the black bin. Not worth £25!

The ‘spoonies are saying they will do the same but some don’t cut their grass of hedges so say it doesn’t affect them.
