Matt, as I have previously said, people from abroad come HERE for the reasons that you have listed!

We have a GREAT service but it is under resourced and the influx of migrant ‘workers’ has only added to demand for the NHS, whether it be the doctors, dentist or hospital.

Plans to build new homes in Wrexham will further increase waiting times so people need to be prepared for long waits. One man’s emergency is another man’s 6 hour wait.

Hope there wasn’t anything xenophobic there. I am just stating facts.

I should have saved my rant for Bonfire night and the crimes that were committed for which none shall face punishment!

Wrexview, I hear what you are saying and your idea to screen off the public is practical but there are only 63 spaces and 4 disabled spots and with 50 plus flats needing a slot plus another 10 or more for their visitors, Councillors and Top Managers would have nowhere to park.

The back of Crown buildings is still being used by people who no longer work in that building and nobody ever questions that.

Wrexview, just a couple of points.

There is a large gated area adjoined to the ‘flats’ which would mean we don’t get the Yorke Street situation which i agree is bloody disgusting, especially when people pass it to get to Eagles Meadow or from Eagles Meadow to the church.

The area would also provide limited parking but if you want parking spaces then you would not move into these flats, it is as simple as that. If you had ankle biters and two cars you would not entertain it. Mrs X and I would be able to get rid of our Ford Anglia and live in town quite happily. And Wetherspoons is on my doorstep.

Use of the Guildhall carpark would be a no go because it is reserved for Councillors and Top Management. It would be unreasonable for the Chief Executive Officer to have to park next to an old banger whose family are unpacking their Lidl shopping bags and dragging crates of cheap booze back home.

Birdman – I would LOVE to tar them ALL with the same brush! Maybe this is a tradition we CAN import from America.

Matt – you have some good ideas there and if they stop the rabblements knocking on my door, I would be a (fairly) happy old man. I would also like to see Virginian law come into force. Lock them up, throw away the keys and don’t let them play with their Gameboys and mobile phones.

Our American brothers have given us Halloween, Black Friday, the Proms …. I just pray that we don’t adopt something similar to the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

Now we have a month or so of nightly fireworks going off before the countdown to “the holidays” (I don’t want to offend anyone by calling it CHRISTMAS) and then a few weeks of fireworks throughout the New Year.

Sorry but I am on one today but this country has gone down the crapper since I were a lad!

Matt – Coming over here taking our jobs! I’ve heard there’s a migrant caravan already heading from Tattenhall seeking to cross over into Wales across Farndon bridge.

Matt, sounds like you are suffering from a touch xenophobia there my learned friend.

Like staff, Councillors must go through the PRCD Appraisal System to make sure they continue to do a good job, so why don’t those that perform deserve a pay rise, iPads and free parking?

Councillors as Members of full Council are the ultimate decision-makers so support your Local Councillor!

Matthew I just expect for you to jump on me with every rational post I make.

I am by no measure a xenophobe or as the Wetherspoonies now call me, a XENOPHONE.

I apologise it was meant in jest over a lunchtime pint

Matt, wake up and smell the hospital coffee. You have your head stuck in a bucket of sand and don’t want to see what is going on.

I have NOTHING against you as a person I just have a problem with some (not all) of your views.

We are overrun and the nhs is suffering.
