I wont be going to these shops until it is safe. I don’t need a standard lamp or a pair of leggings so much that I will risk my life for them.

Play the long game and stay safe.

Oh Matt did the teachers not tell you to read the question properly first?

I would have bought a sh*t load of stamps because first class were 46p and are now 76p so that is 30p profit on each one but I don’t have a calculator to work out how many stamps I would have. I would still have nearly all of them too because I only send a xmas card to Matt.

Rob – over 8 years of Wrexham.com where has the time gone? You never picked up on my suggestion of a Page 3 bird so I never got my tenner.

Should we rip down the statue of the miner and steelworker on Lord Street up near my beloved “old man Spoons”?

“What life was like for children who worked in the mines during the Industrial Revolution. Huge amounts of coal were needed and

      children as young as five

worked at jobs that were dangerous and exhausting. Trappers kept the airflow going which stopped the build-up of dangerous gases. Drawers dragged truckloads of coal to the surface. Older children operated the mine shaft pulleys. Pay and working conditions were poor and life expectancy short.”

Matt that was very good. Have you been brushing up on your joke books during lockdown?

Did you read this Tweet or Twitter or Tweet or what you call it on here today?

    @NWPComSafEast

#nwpbigeasy Please be aware that there has been a spate of theft of fence panels @wrexham Secure your fence panels by nailing them in or nailing extra pieces of wood to each panel so that they are linked. These measures will make it more difficult for a thief to steal them.

I think the culprits are posting on this thread because they take A FENCE!

Matt So renaming the pub wouldn’t be too problematic from that point – Old Man Spoons would actually be more fitting to what it’s referred to.

Ageism, also called age discrimination, is when someone treats you unfairly because of your age. It can also include the way that older people are represented in the media, which can have a wider impact on the public’s attitudes.

Rename it “The Councillor” after one of their favourite patrons.

Is the Black Boy Inn in Caernarfon going to get a new name now?

Back in 2004 they damaged poor Eric’s statue in Morecombe. I bet the police investigated that!

Lets rip down every statue and don’t have buildings, pubs, roads named after people because SOMEONE WILL TAKE OFFENCE!

Dig up your Jimmy Savilles and Mr Yale and anyone offensive, smash up their tombs and gravestones and dump them in a mass grave.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE IS CRIMINAL DAMAGE.Don’t let the yobs rip stuff up do it democratically!

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?”

If a person protests in Wrexham and Americans aren’t aware of it, will it make the slightest bit of difference …. same applies for the U.K. and the rest of the world.

Never thought that an old b@stard like me would ever say this BUT wouldn’t social media be a better, more effective and longer standing platform? Same with home shopping. We use it to help shield ourselves. In the same way if I don’t want to get Covid in a protest I would do it on the internet.

Too serious for a Sunday the sooner they open the pubs I can put me brain back in the box.

Final thought but isn’t kneeling not very well thought out because of what the policeman did when he murdered the man? It’s like when they do a gun salute for American coppers shot in duty.
