It was a stupid idea to close off Duke Street to normal traffic, there was no issue previously, so why do it? Not that it stops anybody anyway

Put the health issues aside for a minute and read up on Coca Cola as a business. Check out their highly questionable business ethics, the way they treat their own staff, local communities and the environment.
Make up your own minds but I certainly won’t be taking my children anywhere near this monstrosity.

I have no issue with speed cameras outside schools or accident blackspots, that is exactly what they should be used for. However on open stretches of road such as the Rossett flyover this is purely for money making.

In terms of speed, its all about driving to the conditions, if I’m on a rural stretch of road where visibility and conditions are good and traffic is minimal, I see no issue in travelling at say 70 mph. I am capable of it, my car is capable of it and the road is capable of it.

Conversely however if there is snow and ice on the road, 30mph is too fast in a built up area and 70 mph is certainly too fast on a dual carriageway despite it being the speed limit (although some 4×4 / BMW /Audi drivers think they are invincible).

Intelligent drivers adjust their speeds and driving manner according to the conditions.

    To the negative posters,

The welsh government spend millions and millions of pounds on a whole host of frivolities so why single out our national language?

There are plenty of people who speak Welsh around Wrexham and welsh speaking schools are full to bursting point with some parents unable to put their children in to these schools due to lack of places. That does not sound like a dying language to me. We should be opening more Welsh speaking schools to cater for the will of the country’s people.

In any other industry, this level of incompetence would be dealt with by sacking or disciplinary proceedings at the very least. The person responsible for this debacle should also be sacked.

Can’t say too much but the cctv has provided a positive result so thanks to NW Police and WCBC for their help.:)

Just have to wait a few weeks now for it to be fully resolved.
