What a disgusting post. It’s people like you that bring the labour party into a bad light. Sometimes we have to realise that other people have different views to ours without insulting their opinion and being aggressive towards them.
We have lifted the school age to 18 in recent years. It was 15 and then lifted to 16.
This is the usual ploy that labour use to get there own way. They pushed for a Welsh Assembly and a Scottish Assembly so that when they lost the vote for the UK they would still hold Wales and Scotland. Oooops that went wrong in Scotland with the SNP so lets try another way.
Most children at 16 are not mature enough and can be persuaded by others. I think 18 is the correct age for voting.
If you had ever met Andrew Atkinson and followed how much hard work he puts in then you would want him in your community. People should stop slagging him off and look at what he does NOT what you think he does not do.
I admire the Highways Officer for standing up to the bullying of the Planning Officer (Just wish he had done it a few years earlier). I most certainly have no respect for the Vice Chancellor for throwing her toys out of the plan and now quite willing to appeal even though she knows that if she wins WCBC will have to pay the costs.
On appeal the Welsh Inspector for planning gave permission for a 300sq Mtr shop IN the new estate in Llay.
This is a 1200sq Mtr shop (out side the new estate) and is too large for the area. It will also bring havoc to the Crown Junction.
Blimey,throw a six to start,it’s still just a walk..
It’s not just a quick walk for everyone in Llay and surrounding areas. The Gresford Road estates are quite a long walk and the new estates will be even further. People walking their dogs want to walk in the park and NOT to the park. People with young children have to take them as it is not just across the road and is to far to let them go by them selves. The WCBC should pay for and maintain the play areas or otherwise not charge for parking.
The play area in The Alyn Country Park (Llay end) is paid for and maintained by Llay Community Council so why should the residents of Llay have to pay to take their children there?
