Wrexham City. Wrexham Town. I know which sounds better.

After going into Morrison’s alot after its grand opening, I have started to notice flaws.

Alot of things are not priced up which is annoying.
Alot of things are found out of date, especially around the bread and freshly baked products.

Shops don’t keep the 5p for the sale of carrier bags. The Government have asked all shops to donate the money made to environmental charities/projects. Although the ‘bag for life’ bags prices from 5p to £££ are a money spinner for supermarkets but I’m not sure if this also falls under the donations act thing.

I honestly believe that Wrexham Council have the worst road layers in Britain. Bottom Road in Summerhill was relaid about 6-8 weeks ago and it’s very poorly done. Every drain hasn’t been levelled but left sunk in the road which is hard to avoid and feels like pot holes.

Also there was a ridiculous pot hole near the WCBC depot on Ruthin road. It was near the Homestead Lane turn off, it was about 10-12 inches deep, it has been filled but now level to the road but yet it has a 3 inch drop.

WCBC need to sort out their skills in the road laying department.

I’m armed with a new camera so might do some trawling for houses lit up like Blackpool illuminations.

No, not really. I do have a valid reason though and that is my missus is due mid January and I particularly don’t want to drive to A&E in the snow. So if it can hold of until February 2012 then I will be happy :)

I like this. I can’t think of anything at the moment but I would like something to do with nature.

    These I like:

Make bird feeders for public places.
    Create a habitat for wildlife.
Create a children’s nature garden, labelling plants and trees and scheduling guided tours.

Don’t mean to sound like a grump but the cleaning of places is where the council’s come in. I would rather the Scout’s get noticed in something that will make a future impact like things with nature, cleaning roadsides or beaches is something that needs doing everyday due to lazy people not binning their rubbish. Keep it up!
