Bryn6ParticipantThe world is full of drivers who have no idea how big or small their vehicle actually is. I’m forever driving past parked cars when there’s ample room for 2 and some doris waits and looks at you like you pushed through. This bridge is the same, unless there’s a tank coming the other way, just get on with it.
Bryn6ParticipantI’m up the hill in Pentre Broughton, not much about really. The school here (Black Lane) is excellent, chip shop/Chinese is average, cross foxes pub nothing to shout about. Shop and post office on the high street quite handy. The views and walks around the lanes are very good and that sort of lifestyle is what I see mainly attracting people. It is quite similar down in New Broughton, it comes down to whether you want to leave the house in the car everytime or be able to walk to the pub/shops etc, in that case look elsewhere which is pretty obvious.
Bryn6ParticipantFortunately I live pretty close to the tip. I’ll take it myself. For £24.99 I’ll take yours as well!
Bryn6ParticipantDepends on the emergency :-)
I’m guessing you got fined lol
Bryn6Participant
Bryn6,
Aren’t you actually missing the point? The argument is about and for those who are either picking up partners with shopping or train passengers at the station, both of whom are there briefly for minutes.
No, I’m really not. Your motives for entering the car park matter not. If you park up in one of the spaces and wait, or worse still, get out and go into Domino’s then you should expect to have to pay, on what planet would you not? The only exemption should be when you literally can’t find a space and have to leave. Don’t even get me started on people who think they can park for free because they’ve got a disabled badge!
Bryn6ParticipantI cant believe the amount of press this issue has had. If you want to use a pay and display car park, you pay. If you don’t want to pay you don’t use it. It really is that simple.

Bryn6ParticipantThere is no need for a grown adult to physically strike a child. What kind of parent would want to do that. Smacking a child is a demonstration of woeful parenting skills.
Bryn6Participant
Bryn – changes from November 2016
Food waste should be placed in the food caddy which has been provided by the Council and should also no longer be placed in the green bin.

Yes, my bad. I do remember this larger grey caddy thing, I had it for all of two seconds before one of my neighbours most probably half inched it. Not much food waste in my house anyways.
Bryn6ParticipantI was always under the impression that the small grey caddy was to be kept in the kitchen for food waste, you would use a bio-degradable bag and as and when you wanted you would knot it up and put it in the green bin with the garden waste. You certainly don’t keep food waste in it all week and then put it outside with the rest of your bins. I always thought people that do must be mad. That way your caddy is kept clean inside your house and your food waste is composted as it should be.

Bryn6ParticipantWould love to see this incorporated into the redevelopment of the kop. Few more pennies needed for that I’d guess.
