borras47ParticipantThey don’t have the power. Where they’ve refused them the inspectorate overturns the decision. Same everywhere.
A side effect of not building enough houses in the last thirty years.
Also a knock on effect of Margaret Thatcher selling off the Social Housing stock!!!
borras47ParticipantIt looks as though we are rapidly running out of options with local operators…perhaps it is time to consider Stagecoach who are already operating in Chester and are already running a bus service into Wrexham via Farndon
borras47ParticipantThis issue has raised a lot of comments over the past few days, some being sarcastic or critical and others more constructive. However, due to the growing trend of technology being used to run our lives it is assumed that every household in the country has access to the internet. Unfortunately this is not the case. This can be due to the elderly not having the internet or people on low incomes who can only regard the World Wide Web as a luxury. So come on you people out there who have criticised this issue, please have a think about all sides to this story and consider people in all walks of life with differing situations and let us see what transpires.
borras47ParticipantI have visited quite a few Range”s in various locations and note some of the comments in this forum regarding suggestions for the location of a Range in Wrexham. Unfortunately from my experience of what i have seen during my visits to a Range, all suggested places would be far too small due to their premise sizes and lack of parking facilities. Most of their premises are in out of locations with decent size car parks.

Now that Gerrards have negotiated their rental terms let us wait and see what they are going to do to increase footfall…..It is amongst the most expensive in town by charging over £2 for a cup of tea!!!

borras47ParticipantIf the emergency services are subject to abuse and criminal damage when they are responding to someone’s needs on this unsavoury location it seems as though the site should be subject to a boycott until the safety of the crew and their vehicles can be guaranteed.
borras47ParticipantBy starting this thread it suggests that benjamin m is condoning damage to cars if they are parked outside someones house. He comments that he does not live in Smithfield. Until recently he did!!!
borras47ParticipantThe suggestion is that these individuals are from the Ruthin Road Site. If they insist on calling themselves travellers why do they need a permanent site and rather than as their title suggests and keep travelling, especially out of the Wrexham area!!
borras47ParticipantThis is certainly a GHA driver….I was on his bus a few months ago and he was giving a lecture about people not putting their hand out as he approached the stop. He passed a number of stops with people standing at them even though some had put their hand out to request him to stop!!!
