There are 266 registered HMO’s in the borough, average is 3 bedrooms so that’s 798 or so people. Wrexham is about 135’600 people. So a few more isn’t going to hurt anyone its going to probably ease up a few peoples living conditions and also a lot of those 266 HMO’s are students only. Either build more houses or allow more HMO’s because populations grow and we’re not providing new homes, like Rossett or Llay should be doing instead of rejecting housing plans because it might spoil someones view of a wet field.

If your wondering where the HMO numbers are from https://www.wrexham.gov.uk/assets/pdfs/licences/licensed_hmos.pdf

Its an incredibly kind gesture particularly at this time of year and while our own government cannot help its most poor and vulnerable people.

Councillor X are you able to talk about anything without having a back handed jab at being politically correct? Is it so hard for you to understand the world past 1970? “Lock em up and throw away the key!” how boring and draconian is your thinking is, that as long as you can’t see a problem it’s not a problem.

No one cares about what the world was like when you were a lad because it was so long ago that it was normal to harass women an minorities when you were a lad. How backwards do you think the UK is that you think we might get an equal to the second amendment which was written when single shot muskets were in use.

Literally no one is offended by the term Christmas so say Christmas and get on with your point which is fireworks…

Lastly if you want to talk about tar and feathering someone go find the KKK websites that’s the only place that murderous practice still gets a positive reaction.

It’s not an American import (no one says Yankee anymore unless they want an over priced scented candle).

Yes there are little sods who ruin it but last night I had lots of polite kids with their parents knock on my door and I don’t exactly live in whats considered the nice part of Wrexham.

Wrexham has a bad youth behavior problem that is not tackled and they use Halloween as a time to misbehave even more. But don’t forget there are lots of good kids too and we cannot tar them with the same brush put up a sign or just don’t answer the door.

If you don’t like halloween ignore it, like valentines day,bon-fire night, christmas, easter, lent, ash wednesday, st Davids, st Georges, st Andrews, st Patricks, summer solstice, new years, boxing day or whatever other day of the year that will be moaned about here year in year out till we all die.

Yes. The contracts has been from bean to cup a f*ck up, however less than half of the traders actively try to get customers through the door. Its 2018 and for some reason its still seems to be acceptable to either close half day or full day on Wednesday and absolutely nothing and I mean zero attempt on a Sunday to open. There are people around who do come on those days and are often found to leave. Literally no on sells food or drink on Sunday now and often things like the welsh classes, table top sale and I’ve heard theirs a chess club sometimes too do attract people but no one is open.

There has been a constant negative attitude often proliferates from the councilors themselves about Ty Pawb, everyone’s got an idea what to do but no one has the back bone to do anything. Wrexham council are so bad with their decision making process plans often fall apart because they take so long to come to a decision. Managing should be in the hands of the people who run it to bring it full potential to bare for the town.

I and many others will continue to support it by actually turning up and not being an armchair voice of descent because I know its better to have it than another empty pound shop.
