Regarding joining the bypass where the 50mph limit applies; If average speed cameras were to be installed on this stretch they would have to put some at the beginning of the 2 slip roads that are used to enter the A483 (B&Q roundabout and Gresford roundabout). There would be no problems then.

They seem to have all gone now so whatever they were surveying for looks to have been completed. We might find out soon.

Possibly something to do with the LDP? There are some as you enter the Fairways estate on St Mellion’s Crescent. I think that road is one of a few that may be used as an access road if the houses are built on the Cefn Road.
What happens after the reduced speed limit if the findings are that it has reduced emissions? I say keep at 50mph but do it in 3rd.
Hopefully they’ll leave it at 50 just to annoy people like you.
Sadly I doubt it. I also doubt it will be temporary too. Speed limits rarely go up. I have a feeling we will be told that “The reduction in nitrogen dioxide was such a Great Success that we have decided to make the reduction permanent”
Hopefully it will be made permanent and they’ll look at reducing the limits on other roads too, like the Llanypwll Link road for instance.

Always. I am a firm believer that speed kills.
All roads that run alongside urban developments should be limited to 50mph ,this would help reduce air plus noise pollution.I hope this is backed with average speed cameras.
Restrict the use of traffic lights on junctions to busy times would help traffic flow and help reduce air pollutants from standing vehicles.
Does not make any sense why the link road is not included in this plan for Wrexham.
Absolutely spot on.
Speed limits need reducing on every dual carriageway and motorway, especially where there are houses. This needs to be backed by adding average speed cameras.
