Where are you prevented from installing a wood burner? Plenty of my neighbours have them but if you have to buy firewood it’s more expensive than gas CH. And wood has to be seasoned at least one year before using.

No. These things do not happen “Only in Wrexham” It’s country wide. I was talking to a couple who had just moved to Wrexham from Liverpool and Manchester and they said how wonderfully friendly the people were and how picturesque the surrounding countryside was.
