I have no idea where RDx lives but I have lived in Llay for most of my life and have always got an appointment the same day as I have asked for one! So to say it already takes a month is simply not true. Also the bus service is probably one of the best in the County Borough, again I have no complaints.

I am getting a bit fed up of hearing all the bleating from people that ‘the people of Llay’ are devastated and disgusted and whatever else ‘we’ are meant to be. I am NONE of these things. I welcome the development and see it as an opportunity for money to come into the area, jobs and much needed housing (almost a third of which will be ‘affordable housing’)

So please STOP assuming that no one is happy about this as many people are – its only the complainers who are making their voices heard, the rest are simply getting on with their lives!

OK here is my assessment of the candidates:

Terry Boland – useless never appears anywhere became independent because Labour were fed up of his non attendance and claims his allowance because he can (if you are too ill to attend don’t stand!)
Brian Apsley – Him and his wife are involved in the community but Labour are a joke party right now
Gary Hall – Not born in Wrexham but was first to respond to questions
Ian Edwards – never heard of him
Anthony Fontes – never heard of him and not responded to questions
Nathan Hughes – just go away you muppet
Hannah Jones – never heard of her and not responded to questions
Victoria Jones – who? and what?!!!!!
Rob Walsh – does a lot for Llay, regular newsletters across the year, attendance is good and always at the heart of issues concerning Llay and listening to what residents think and want

In other words, for me at least its a no brainer!!!!!

I was told this morning that it was not a crime as it was people shooting legally on private land and a stray bullet that hit the horse. Seems a bit strange to me if I’m honest that a stray bullet could go in at the exact spot that could kill a horse! Regardless, whether it was a stray bullet or someone ‘mistook’ the horse for the animals that they were actually shooting then the person is dangerous and needs their license removed immediately.
