    There are lots of Wrexham names around the world, but does anyone know of the history of any of the namings?

    It would be nice to see what research that there is out there on this subject. I was looking at Columbus Ohio (where there are some Wrexham references) and then widened the search to Ohio generally. I got as far as the influx of Welsh immigrants to counties in Ohio in 1818, mainly from West Wales, and the scale in different years of immigration was huge. I’m guessing that in Ohio and Pennsylvania, many of the links will be to do with the fact of the Iron Industry, the various Churches, or merely places of origin
