Although everyone has free choice to eat what they want but with obesity and diabetes running at such high rates we are very fast developing a heath time bomb that will explode in the next ten years. We have gone through all the health problems associated with coal mining and heavy industries with cancers, lung problems etc. with n one being aware of the consequences in the 1930/40/50/60’s
With the obesity issues medical advances know now the impact of these products we are still seeing unhealthy food available. At times personal choice of things like food should be removed by banning products that have a potential bad health affect — we did it with cigarettes so why not with bad food!!
Free choice can still exist — just make the choice spread over healthy food..

Nice to see that you are in favour of free choice as long as it is your own.

Reading the comments at the bottom it seems the article is duff on population info as well.

If Costa is counted, surely Starbucks should be too?

Looking again it seems its a press release, probably paid with the linking and the like, for Treated dot com rather than anything too firm :)

Well, You must be right Rob. I never go into EM so I didn’t even know there was a BK in there.

I enjoyed writing the planning piece before it came, as its home to local whoppers apparently ;)
