What on earth is going on with Wrexham appearing to be an island with neighbouring counties of Denbighshire, Flintshire and Cheshire now on high levels and likely to head to local lockdown.

Are people in Wrexham really adhering to all of the precautions or is this just another case of the difficulty to get a test means we don’t have the number of actual cases in our community recorded.

If it is not to do with shortage of tests then Public Health Wales need to come and find out what is happening here and share the info with areas that have high recorded cases.

There seem to be lots of schools in Wrexham that have children off isolating with their families –

There are lots going on and we cant be complacent and relax our guard- we could move into high risk very quickly

Looking at the stats from the 1st September to 28th Wrexham after a peak during August due to the local food plant has a average of 2.5 cases per day. whilst Cheshire West has an average daily increase from 1/09/2020 to the 28/09/20 of 13 per day.
I would say that Wrexham on the whole is acting in a responsible way may this continue.

LL14 still low, guess so many had it in Wrexham we may be immune? but as I look on Friends of friends on Facebook, a few conspiracy theories, we know the “TRUTH” so don’t wear masks we go about like normal. They are the selfish people that will cause the increase in Covid 19.

    Gobsmacked!

    Pubs remain open!

    Gyms remain open!

If you are going to lockdown then do it properly!

Tourists also allowed to travel from England through the affected lockdown counties to holiday and have day trips to Gwynedd and Anglesey so they can climb Snowdon etc…

This just tells me that it’s only a matter of time before the large number of visitors concentrated into just 2 counties rather than spread across the whole of North Wales means the infection levels in those areas will start to spiral before long and see them in lockdown too.

    Not a good situation.

Well we didn’t remain an Island for very long – let hope the rising tide of cases goes down quickly and we are not hit with a tsunami
