    This thread was started to call women in Wrexham to come together – it is not an anti-male stance by any means but just needing people to realize the potential there is from women being involved if there was flexibility for meetings etc.

    I am also not advocating a woman should be elected because she is a woman – it is about ability and merit- all that is needed though is a level of confidence that sometimes women lack. This not about creating women-only shortlists

    For a variety of reasons, women will often have a different view than men on an issue – that surely is good as it could foster greater debate on issues of importance rather than just 100% yes in favor of what the Leader says will happen.
