Isn’t it frustrating when you can’t get good internet signal on your phone? And it keeps popping up to join that wifi network…but it’s password protected!?
I know there are many free wifi hotspots about, but what about those that require a password?
Would it be good to share these to open up the Internet to more??
If you’d like to share your shop/cafe/restaurant password then let’s get a list growing…
This is a frustrating issue for lots of people but I am not sure if this is a genuine request. No one should ever open their own WiFi to public access without seeking professional help on security issues. Giving public access can be the same as leaving the front door of your business open and someone coming in to look through your business files.
Hopefully one of the town computer shops will post a solution
To be fair although a password is required to access wifi in some of the establishments (e.g. Weatherspoons) it is usually access to to something like ‘The Cloud’ which although requires registration and a password has only to be done once, and then covers all of The Cloud access points, and is free.
