“An appeal has been launched after a handbag was snatched from a vehicle in the town centre.
On Monday 2nd February at around 12:15pm a man outside KFC……”

Why wait a week to launch an appeal over this incident, why not the same, or the next day while still fresh in possible witness’s minds??

‘Cos they wanted to give the snatcher a chance to have a change of heart and return the bag. They have to respect his rights ya know. ;)

As I am not a police officer, and neither are you, the reasons why it takes so long are probably endless. Respect to the person who’s bag was stolen, checking through current leads first, having the resources, man hours and man power to take it on at the present time. Who knows.

If you want an actual response though, maybe ask the police?

And you honestly think we’d get a straightforward reply? The police haven’t been accountable to us for years !

Unless it directly affects us personally, is it really any of our business?

Yes, as they claim to be “Public Servants” and we pay their wages.
