You do realise it’s not included in your council tax?
You also know that Wrexham is in a minority county that have not paid for green bin emptying.
You also do know it was funding by the welsh assembly..
Nope. I guess not. Next informative post please…
The council web site does not work & they don’t answer the phone, how are you supposed the pay the £25.00 garden waste fee?
As the website was only opened Monday I guess they’re a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Give it a few days. There’s no rush to pay is there ?

I assume it was a joke about feeding lawn mowings to horses. Just in case, please don’t do it. Horses cannot digest grass cuttings as it is too finely cut and isn’t digested properly. They can easily get colic and every year dozens of horses die due to well meaning people feeding them mowings. This is a serious matter and not a joke.

I would say most people do not care what excuses you come out with,as of April I will be paying over £230 a month for what, and I can not even get my green bin taken away,7% rise in council tax what will it be next year and the year after.Let us be honest the tax payer is paying most of that to cover council workers pensions why can they not pay for there own,I work in the private sector and pay an extra £180 per month more than I did 12 years ago for the same pension. We also pay extra on our police bills last year in a statement they even admitted costs have gone up because of police pensions.

Very informative, I did not know that. Paying £25 is better than having 3 weekly general waste collections. Although Wrexham council have shot them selves in their foot, over the last few years they have broadcaster LOUD “Look we have one of the lowest increases in council tax in wales”, but because of not increasing slightly more over the years now they have less money.

How will the refuse collectors know if I have paid my fee to empty the bin. Will they have a list of all residents who have paid.?

Carrots and Polo Mints are fine for horses. So are fresh melon skins, broccoli, cauliflower, apples.

No, they’ll probably use telepathy.

You’ll be sent a label to put on your bin. Simples!
