We’ve had the worst fall of snow this winter, but why some people cash in at these times is beyond me. Taxi’s charge extra, plumbers and electricians charge an enormous amount just for a call out fee.
We know it’s bad to get around, but when they’ve got plenty of work they should be glad of it. There are so many businesses that would be pleased of the extra work.

Have just travelled back home from holiday and until we approached Cheshire there was little snow about. We have plenty now we are home though! Was glad I didn’t have to go to work in it.

Been quoted £150 off an electrician just for the call out fee today. That’s before even looking at anything.

Don’t forget to check on elderly neighbours, getting out and about for the basics is not easy for those with limited mobility in this amount of snow.

Good point there, I have shovelled and brushed a path for some of the elderly ladies by us.
