If you want to make a day of shopping in Wrexham and maybe have lunch or take the children to the cinema a stay of over 4 hours now costs £7 in the Vinci Car Park!

It is very well lit the rest of the time, however if it was dark and dingy we would moan its unsafe. Can’t believe the charges have risen so much. I’m sure their is a bigger hidden plan to close Wrexham.
I think you are right about a plan to close Wrexham, because at least then you could see some sense in what is happening all over the town :( ;)

I’ve gone in there in the daytime and it would appear a number of the lamps are PIR activated.
But I do find it amusing to see their ‘offer’ of a minimum parking charge of £2.50.
Maybe if Eagles Meadow / Vinci consider price matching the council or NCP they might get a few more folk parking there. Better still, get shops to rebate the cost of a parking ticket, so people using the place have an incentive to park there.
Seems simple in concept – special discounts, lower the rates on certain days – encouraging people to visit – more revenue for the traders of Eagles Meadow – increased visitors equaling potentially more income generation for the carpark and everyone’s a winner. Just a shame they don’t seem to seize this opportunity.
