Vaccine roll-out – Where & how many?

My 85 year old mum has just had a phone call to go for her vaccine on Monday,At last!

A thread on what was discussed earlier, complete with WHO guidance:

The WHO recommends a maximum gap between Pfizer doses of 3-6 weeks, ie 42 days max.

So why is the government going it alone with an off-label, evidence free, 12+ week gap?
