The Daily Post carry an article today about drug use in the stairwells of Ty Pawb. Before the refurbishment of the People’s Market this was a perennial problem and the Council never managed to eradicate it. Having spent many millions on creating a family atmosphere within Ty Pawb it is disappointing to read the problem has returned. Hopefully the Council will step up their cleaning regime and closely monitor the stairwells to prevent the same problem taking a hold again.

How are people gaining access here? Aren’t the areas secure?

The drugs is one issue but having a locked fire door and anything happens could lead to legal action against the Council and a danger to public and staff
