Do the traffic wardens work on a Sunday in Wrexham? Its just the parking in and around High street was bad today.

Non disabled cars using disabled bays
    Cars parked on the pavements
    Cars in Loading bays!

Just a general nightmare parking wise!

Perhaps it was something to do with the date ?

Same last week, not just because of it being Remembrance Sunday. Just uncertain if they work Sundays or not, because actually if they don’t do we have to pay in the car parks? ;-)

Traffic wardens don’t work on evenings or on Sundays so park where you like.
The Council rely on police moving illegally parked cars who cause an obstruction.

I have thought this to be correct for some time now, but why don’t the council and the signs advertise this fact ? it may bring more people to the town on a Sunday, I am sure even then the car parks in Wrexham would not be inundated !

Parking isn’t free overnight and 6.00pm to midnight is £1.00 but if nobody is around to slap on the tickets it is effectively free if you want to risk it.
If my old head is correct it used to be a nominal fee overnight like 10p.
I don’t think signs saying “Come and Park Here because we don’t apply wardens at night” goes with the Council’s money-making ethic MP :)
