The Council obviously doesn’t like how the full and frank discussions at the Forum meetings are reported in the press. A “Task and Finish ” meeting has decided the Forum meetings agenda will in future be set by the Council, this is a decision of a closed meeting of a group of Councillors. Why would the Council want to suppress openness and accountability? The Forum has no power and in reality has only ever been a sounding board for ideas.
