Rather than the usual headlines, or perhaps shorter hidden stories in local media, what do you make of the recorded crime stats?
Well, according to a Police blog, there’s no drop in crime, just a drop in reported crimes. People have lost so much faith in the Police and the Crime Prosecution Service that they’re not bothering to report crimes. Unfortunately, it’s playing into Theresa May’s hands and is giving her further ammunition for cuts to the Police Service throughout the UK.
I wonder how many offences have not been dealt with properly.The Police hierarchy can make the figures look good & tell the Officers on the beat to keep the figures down.PCSOs are not the answer.Wrexham town centre is getting overrun with Drunks & Druggies.
Incidence of crime figures, recorded crime figures, reported crime figures, British crime survey figures, and of course the unreportable dark figures crime, take your pick as they all will show a major difference dependent on the agenda, however if your looking for an impressive way to consume your local police force stats, take a look at this, its genuine!
