I have been to the Netherlands and it’s very rare to see a new bicycle as they tend to be stolen.alot of them are old bikes that have been refurbished and are not that cheap to buy.

I went to Amsterdam and almost got knocked over by bikes a dozen times. Even without me havin a smoke they were a menace.
Used to be bad in the middle of town here too with the teenagers going through the crowded pedestrian zones full pelt on their bikes. When I wasn’t kickin pigeons I would be trying to kick their wheels.

The bike parks in Amsterdam are unbelievable especially around the railway station. The amount of bikes there you need eyes at the back of your head.

That’s more like it Wrex-it. Reading the 1930’s newspapers the accident rate was huge in comparison with reading reports of car accidents now. There were always people up in court.
