Thanks for the link, I found it surprisingly interesting :)

Its a great read – and this bit is where Brook St starts as though you are heading towards Island Green:

Is the yellow arrow a direction indicator or evidence of giant stork inhabitants of the culverts? I am not going down there if giant storks are lurking in the water

Forget giant storks, its the mention of spiders that is enough to keep me away

Don’t people realise the names are a bit of a giveaway- Rivulet: A small brook or stream. Brook: A small stream.

I’m afraid my thought processes aren’t that deep. I’ve been to Summerhill and while the second part might be true the first part wasn’t when I was there :)

I must admit I do like this site. I thought I knew Wrexham quite well but I am being educated to a new level through the posts on here. It’s the first thing I check once I have done my household errands. It comes after email but before facebook and twitter!

I’ve been away to Spain on holiday. I was shocked to hear people coming in saying there was floods and even snow and hail in the UK. It’s been known before of course. But, with all the hype about global warming we have come to expect better springs and summers, alas that’s not happened for some years now.
Had the central heating on non stop since arriving home.

Hope you enjoyed your holiday, lucky you! It has been a bit cool this week.

We saw a bit of sun last Sunday so I tackled the garden. I came off worst after a battle with a rose bush but I persevered and won in the end. I do look like I’ve been attacked by a cat though! Have worn sleeves to work this week. :D

Oh dear, thorns are a problem. I managed to dry all the washing on Sunday.
When coming home there’s lots to do, spent the afternoon ironing.

There isn’t a dislike option here but ironing would get one from me!
