I have to mention this: I have never seen a bigger Police presence as tonight in the town. There had been problems all day in the town centre with foreigners urinating in the streets and consuming large amounts of beer while sitting around Queens square and Llwyn Isaf. It’s still early as I report this and I can only hope that there is no more trouble as the night goes on.
As a team from Shropshire, I don’t know why they didn’t arrange this fixture at somewhere like Wolverhampton rather than here in Wrexham.
It was something to do with the demand for tickets. Their own ground didn’t have the capacitity needed. I saw the away supporters on my way home last night and they did seem to turn up in force.
