With the relaxation of the English lockdown, the welsh AM’s are worried about the newly free English invading our beauty spots and beaches. I have news for them, it will be the Welsh running for the freedom of Chester, the Cheshire Hills, Oswestry and the Shropshire Hills. We will have a ludicrous dash to the get across the Border to enjoy the new freedoms. It will be just like the old American films where you make a dash to the State line to avoid the Cops. We could have the spectacle of the Welsh police at the border crossings preventing the English coming into Wales and preventing the Welsh leaving to enjoy the new freedoms. And who do we have to blame – the Jumped up, un-elected, Headmaster style Drakeford – a part-time parish councillor who believes he has made good and wants to make a name for himself.

I thought that you were going to say that the Welsh will be running across the border to buy the cheaper alcohol. Now has anybody thought to tell our visitors from across the border that it is more expensive in Wales to buy alcohol. That’ll stop them coming in their droves.
