New flower beds beautifully planted up, missing trees replaced, street lights mended, streets cleaned and even the odd pothole filled in ! All these things have been accomplished in the last few weeks , after months of inaction. Either Councillors are looking for our vote or there has been a pot of money discovered at the end of the rainbow in the Guildhall.

I’d be very interested in seeing which wards have been so improved!

Superficial fixes (except for the potholes) from a superficial set of councillors unlikely to increase the low voter turnout. However, because of this voter apathy will ensure them another multi-year ride on the gravy train.

Add the cleaning up of the litter along Crispin Lane to the list.

Pure coincidence! The Council has been balancing its books and there was a little left over to make the town a little happier!
Its a bit like finding a pound coin down the back of the sofa or a fiver in the pocket of your chinos.

They left the rubbish at the junction of Crispin Lame and Mold Road probably because that bit belongs to the railway !

Rear entrance to the Maelor Hospital opened at last ! Wonder if any Councillor will claim this as their success.
