For the first time in my life time, people in my household were “telephoned canvassed” by both the Labour and Conservative Party, neither were on polling day .

Well, thanks for sharing that with us. It was emotional.

Ooh! Ama, your a one! I have got to be honest though mate, but after recent events, I have lost all faith in any official voting system or survey. There is always some monkey business about it!

Surely all candidates if they had read the Conservative Party information provided would have seen that Central Office would provide a variety of Social Media and Telephone canvassing as part of the ‘support’ package to help the local campaigns. These communications had guidelines about what to be doing when in turns of the lead up to Election day.
It would be highly unlikely that any local candidates would even question whether what Central Office was doing might have been illegal- I’m sure they would expect to ‘trust’ those in a head office.
