When the new Morrisons opened they gave out cards with one “free” receipt and stated that if you collected 5 more (spend over £40) you would receive a free £25 voucher. Sting in the tail , even when you have your voucher you still have to spend £40 before you can use it and all before 31st December!

To be fair on Morrisons, this is a promotion they have been running for the last few years. It usually starts 7 weeks before Xmas and you have to collect 5 seperate receipts over £40. You can claim your voucher the week before Xmas. Therefore you can spend it either on your Xmas shop or New Years shop. If you regularly do your weekly shop at Morrisons it is easily done. I have had £25 off my Xmas shop for the last 3 years in the West Midlands.;)

Aldi should be applauded for both selling British meat but also for their clear labelling . It states grown in UK, slaughtered in UK and packed in UK, clear and accurate information . Why don’t other supermarkets do this ?

Lidl have a promotion this week called XXL giving larger sized products at proportionally cheaper prices. An example is their excellent Maribel jam at 99p for 650 grams rather than 84p for 450 grams.

Looks like the £5 off a £40 shop has finished in Tesco’s , remember the vouchers are only dated for one week , so you need to use the.ast one by Sunday.
