I want to thank wrexham.com for it’s coverage (no pun intended) of the effect of the recent snow fall in the area. It has been very useful while being entertaining at the same time, loved the bath sledge and the snow men.
It was great to be able to see what public transport was available and which schools were open or closed in one place. If there is an award for community based media they should be nominated.

Thanks for the kind words ! Myself , Mike and several other contributors have pulled out the stops and more to try and get everything working for it.
The feedback has been tremendous from people and we do feel its been genuinely useful for people.
We hope we get the balance right to being dedicated to single stories ‘live’ and wider coverage – tricky with a small team!
We have a couple of new tools being tested which hopefully will empower people to get involved even more directly!
