Rename it after a famous Wrexham sportsman. The Joey Jones.

Rename it “The Councillor” after one of their favourite patrons.

Is the Black Boy Inn in Caernarfon going to get a new name now?

Back in 2004 they damaged poor Eric’s statue in Morecombe. I bet the police investigated that!

Lets rip down every statue and don’t have buildings, pubs, roads named after people because SOMEONE WILL TAKE OFFENCE!

Dig up your Jimmy Savilles and Mr Yale and anyone offensive, smash up their tombs and gravestones and dump them in a mass grave.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE IS CRIMINAL DAMAGE.Don’t let the yobs rip stuff up do it democratically!

    When human respect is disintegratin’,
This whole crazy world is just too frustratin’,
And you tell me over and over and over again my friend,
Ah, you don’t believe we’re on the eve of destruction.

Matt So renaming the pub wouldn’t be too problematic from that point – Old Man Spoons would actually be more fitting to what it’s referred to.

Ageism, also called age discrimination, is when someone treats you unfairly because of your age. It can also include the way that older people are represented in the media, which can have a wider impact on the public’s attitudes.

So, Sadly Khan’t has already called for ALL London’s racist landmarks to be removed.

There’s going to have to be a huge number of building and street names changed throughout the UK if this runs.

Staff working at, and patients attending for treatment, are going to have to make a serious decision about how they justify going to Guy’s Hospital in London.

We cannot have any references to anything connected to Algeria, Tunisia or Libya among others due to the approximately One Million Slaves taken and sold there during the Barbary slave trade.

Nor India, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan and North Korea where there are still slaves.

These are just red herring arguments. ‘Those people over there are also doing it, so we don’t need to bother.’

You can simply rename Guy’s Hospital to something better, rather than force ludicrous conditions on people.

And why can’t we reference countries where there is slavery, condemn it and insist on change?

Come on Councillor ;) Old Man is a positive in this instance. How weak and insignificant does his son Young Man Spoons sound in comparison? Sounds like a bit of an idle fiddler by all accounts. Much rather hear about the life stories and misadventures of old man spoons.

The Old Man and the Sea, This Old Man, Old Man River – legends in their own right.
