maybe if the council weren’t spending tens of thousands of pounds on some bizarre fencing scheme in station road rhostyllen then they would already have enough money to fund the memorial scheme.

Why a replacement memorial when one has existed for 70 years paid for from public donations. The past has been remembered every year since the end of the 2nd WW at the Memorial Gardens – why is there need for a change

It’s not a replacement memorial, it’s an addition to the existing. It is remember all lost in all conflicts, not just WW1 and WW2.

Do you need a memorial to remember those who have lost their lives in battle? And would you prefer the council spend money on this, rather than the essential services in the county?

To complement the improvement of the Memorial Gardens the council and the local member, the Leader of Wrexham County Borough Council, should remove the eyesore of the purple bus shelter that encroaches onto and into the Memorial Gardens at present, it is a disgrace.
