Yes, as most of the people have run through family and friends long ago and any attempt to get help is met by “get the family to help, they should pay ” or where is you Christian charity? I will say I have been my literal brothers keeper over 40 years and I can’t anymore.

Ha, funny. I hear that all the time being from the US.

My point was most of the homeless/drug users and alcoholics have run through family and friends already and rely on social services to get help with their problems. The social workers and cops say “why should we help/PAY when the family should pay, get them help.Or worst being told where is your Christian charity, i.e. even if you don’t want to pay do it anyway.
