If you dont want your boxes phone them and they will collect them off you. Not all binmen are like that the ones we have are pretty good at putting things back or as close to it as they can, but maybe that is because people in our village treat them like humans and not like crap on our shoe. Some places they find needles, shi**y nappies, dog muck, and god knows what else inside boxes that they have to sort out. The new boxes dont need sorting, it is not for you to ‘do their job’ its to protect them from inconsiderate people. If you have a problem report them take the registration of wagon and phone it through, instead of moaning on here let your voice be heard the more complaints the more they cant ignore it.
They weren’t suitable for us and were taken away on request. Our binmen are always very good and tidy. So no complaints and thanks for an excellent service.

Neighbour’s have had the top box hinge broken by the binmen already! Again the Welsh Government have given money to the Council to fund this specific initiative. High time that the Welsh Government give all the available money to the Council and allow them to prioritise the way it is spent.
I thought they were going to roll this out over 3 weeks (started early May) but we still have not received them yet even though the other side of the road has.
Another £376,000 has been given to Wrexham Council from the Welsh Assembly to roll out the Wheelie Boxes to more homes. Yet again the Assembly dictate to Wrexham Council. As these bins are appearing across a number of Councils the total money spent by the Assembly must be in millions. NHS Wales is in crisis with soaring debt and recruitment problems, surely any spare money would be better spent on the NHS rather than recycling , which we already do well in Wrexham.
