Remember this Saturday is Record Store Day. This is the calendar date when Record shops across the country celebrate Music and especially Vinyl. This year has reversed many recent trends because Music units have actually increased in terms of sales. The two local shops participating in Record Store Day are Vod records in Mold (one of the smallest stores in the UK) and Alun Hughes Film Music & Nostalgia in the People’s Market Wrexham.
I hope so Liam. Moonlight has provided great service to Wrexham over the years and Brian is a good bloke. I haven’t heard either way but the more Music stores that are up and running the better. I’m opening a new shop in Bank Street in mid-May and we hope to provide a top class service to the people of Wrexham (and beyond)
Good to hear Alun, the more independent music stores the better as far as I’m concerned too. Glad to see them thriving even against the backdrop of nationals like HMV closing. Good luck with your new venture :).
